With a review score of 74% on PC Gamer and 69% on Metacritic, State of Decay 2 has received a mixed response from players. Players not only have to survive, but in order to progress through the game will have to ensure that them and their team have enough food, shelter and medicine. The game, which is played from a third person perspective and with options for multiplayer gameplay of up to four, is set in post-apocalypse in a world filled with Zombies. It is the second out of three in the series, the first of which ‘State of Decay’ was launched to market in 2013 and State of Decay 2: Heartland in 2019.
